Well… the government got five straight hours of Fat Man today, and Fat Man ain’t gonna lie — they about wore the tread off this ol’ boy. 😂🇺🇸

Today was the interview and inspection for Fat Man’s Cans, LLC, and this definitely wasn’t one of those “looks good, have a nice day” kind of visits.

Five hours of questions, paperwork, walking through the shop, explaining the operation, going over how everything is set up, and then probably answering a few more questions just to make sure Fat Man was still awake.

Somewhere around hour four, Fat Man started wondering if lunch was part of the inspection process. Apparently it was not. 😂

But all joking aside, today was a serious milestone for Fat Man’s Cans and another important step in moving this business forward.

There’s a lot more that goes into building something like this than machines, metal, CNC programs, and making chips. There’s paperwork, compliance, inspections, planning, learning, and a whole lot of patience.

We’re taking it one step at a time and doing our best to build Fat Man’s Cans the right way from the ground up.

One more hurdle behind us.
A whole lot more ahead.
And Fat Man is still moving forward.

Although after five hours with the government, he may be moving a little slower tonight. 😂

From barbecue smoke to machine smoke… the Fat Man’s Cans story is just getting started.
